This is YOUR place to find out about all the cool things happening for teens (ages 11 - 19) at our library! Email Teen Services Librarian Lacey (Laceyl@marshalllyonlibrary.org) to become a member of the site. Then you can add book, movie, and CD ideas to the Wish List and Teen Program Ideas List, and you can even create your own pages! Don't forget to check out our blog, too!

September 7, 4:30 6:30 pm: Teen HangOut! Play video games, board games, read, make movies. Those who come get to decide what we'll do!

September 9, 4:30 - 5:30 pm: Character chats! Come to the library ready to portray your favorite book character (comic books and manga count, too!) We'll have an "in-character" discussion. Costumes are welcome, but not necessary.

September 9, 5:30 - 6:30 pm: Open Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meeting. All teens are welcome to attend this meeting to brainstorm October programs for teens at the library.

September 14, 4:30 - 6:30 pm: Don't just play video games -- build them! Come to this program to learn to use SCRATCH, a free program that allows you to create animation, video games, and more! Meet in the computer lab.

September 16, 4:30 - 5:30 pm: Closed TAB meeting -- teen advisory board members only, please!

September 21, 4:30 - 6:30 pm: Teen Hang Out. Those who come decide what we'll do!

September 23, 4:30 - 6:30 pm: Anime night! We'll begin screening Fruits Basket.

September 23: Deadline for Readers Theater Registration!

September 28, 4:30 - 6:30 pm: Readers Theater Practice. If you'll be participating in the readers theater competition, come to this practice to make sure you're ready and get feedback!

September 30, 4:30 - 6:30 pm: Readers Theater Performances! Perform a scene from a book for library patrons. Patrons vote on the best performances, with prizes for the winners!
